Transaction records (order ID, amounts, dates, exchange rates, and Interac confirmation references) are retained for at least five years after the transaction date, as required by the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) record-keeping rules applicable to Canadian money service businesses. If you close your account, we immediately scrub your identifying information (name, phone, recipient details, support messages) but keep the transaction records, with your user identifier as the only remaining link. Those records and the identifier are hard-deleted once the five-year retention window elapses.
